It is my pleasure to invite you to attend the Third International Symposium on Intelligent Information Technology in Agriculture (ISIITA) in Beijing on Oct.14-16, 2005.
Information technologies are becoming more and more important for rural development. All commercial crop & animals production systems are potential users for ICT products. Many ICT systems have been developed to help farmers, extension workers and administrators. ICT will provide powerful means for the transformation of agriculture. Many countries established association or research centers for Information Technology in Agriculture. It is necessary for experts from developed and developing countries to exchange ideas. The ISIITA provides a platform for experts from developed and developing countries to come together and get familiar with each other.
The first and second International Symposium on Intelligent Information Technology in Agriculture (ISIITA) was held in Beijing under the support of Ministry of Science and Technology of China in 2000 and 2003, respectively. More than 300 scientists from 22 countries, including Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Egypt, England, Ghana, Greece, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Nigeria, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Vietnam, and China, attended the symposiums.
I want to know whether you can attend the symposium this year, and if you can, please send your abstract before May 31,2005 and full paper before July 31. Your attendance and contribution to the symposium will be a great support for further development of information agriculture and knowledge agriculture in modern society.
